EUSEW 2010
The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the reference event for sustainable issues in Europe. It forms part of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign which is an initiative of the European Commission launched in 2005.

The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign contributes to achieving the European Union's energy policy targets within the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, clean transport and alternative fuels.

The EUSEW event is a very important event: in 2009 it combined 149 events in Brussels and outside with over 30,000 participants.

EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) on behalf of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy and Transport.
The RE-WISE project Final Conference was held on the 24th of March during the event “Acceptance of biogas as a secure and sustainable source of energy for cities, rural areas and islands” where a joint event of the following four EU-co-financed projects took place:
-         BIORES (website: http://www.biores.eu/)
-         BIOGAS ACCEPTED (website: http://www.biogasaccepted.eu/)
-         BIGEAST (website: http://www.big-east.eu/)
-         REWISE

The joint event, organized by Mr. Panos Coroyannakis (ISLENET – BIORES project), represented the Final Conference for the four projects. It was held on the 24th of March at the Jacques Delors Building, headquarter of Committee of Regions, in Bruxelles: in this occasion, responsibles of RE-WISE project had the opportunity to illustrate the RE-WISE concepts and main results.
